The National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) chose the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado as the truck of the NHRA. This agreement gives Chevy major on-site presence at all the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series events. The Silverado will be showcased in a variety of ways at the events – some being, an emergency response vehicle and a track preparation vehicle. “Chevrolet is proud to partner with the series as the Official Truck of NHRA, and are honored that our Silverado’s and Suburban’s will be utilized by the NHRA Safety Safari,” said Vice President of performance vehicles, Jim Campbell.
